What is your favourite stage when drawing a piece?
I like the original idea creation where I come up with the concept for the piece and then I also really like the bit where its 3/4s of the way through when I've done the colour and all the main line work and I’m adding all the smaller details and I can really feel it all coming together at that point.
What is your favourite meal?
Probably pizza or maybe veggie lasagna.
How do you think of all the objects in your hyper detailed pieces?
Um, usually through documenting interesting objects that I see in real life either through photographing them or writing it down or if I have the luxury of time I like to draw a visual reminder in a sketch book. I also have a very vivid imagination and have always been able to pull ideas directly from my brain.
What was the last thing that made you smile?
These stupid questions, before that who fucking knows.
Would you rather have tongues for hair or hairs for your tongue?
Tongues for hair, I hate having hair in my mouth.
How old do you feel?
17, nah like 22, 23 at a push.
Do you have a book that altered your brain chemistry?
Pretty much every John Steinbeck book I’ve ever read. The mushrooms book blew my mind (Entangled Life by Merlin Sheldrake)
Three things that are your favourite colour?
Grass, night sky(Aurora), watermelon sour patch kids.
